I'd been pretty happily supporting myyearbook.com on my summer camp site (lots of teenagers) but it appears they've slashed their lead commission from $2 to $.50. That sucks and isn't really even worth my while as a publisher. The weird thing is their web site still says affiliated make $2 a lead and their info page on CJ says that leads earn $1 AND $.50 (on the same page). Am I seeing this right? Anyone else use these guys? I think I just lost my first real promising income stream for my site (adsense sucks for my site). Is it normal for leads to be slashed to 25% of their former values?
Thats... a bit confusing... I know a friend of mine uses myyearbook.com and he gets $2.00 per lead, I would also like to know if its normal for leads to be slashed like that... I was considering using myyearbook also but now this makes me reconsider... o.0?
I wouldent have an idea why they would decline you automatically... When i applied i got accepted almost instantly... *shrugs* odd..
my alp is pending and the site says $1.00 as well as the cj site they say that if your site serves teens or college students that you could make a lot of money with there program some people are making $300 a day do you have a cj account
www.myyearbook.com still has yet to accept my request for a affiliate program i hope they do it soon i think it's a good program
I wrote them a few months ago for the same thing. They never did get back to me, so I dropped them. I find that MyYearbook ads a little dated already. They should work on some newer, hipper ads... I suggest TAGWORLD via CJ. Try them out. I was doing nicely with a text link worked into a post on my blog. They originally offered $1.00 per lead but have since dropped it to .70
I had the same happen to me sort of... I had already been accepted, I think automatically...Then I noticed that my Tagworld relationship had been terminated. I tried re-applying and was getting instant declines. So I wrote them. Turns out that the CJ listing had been replaced by a new one. That might be the case - It's a little odd that they would turn you down just like that. I think I had better results contacting TW through their affiliate page directly on their site - try their. I did that and they reset my account right away.
