I have noticed this with some of my affiliates. -For 3 hours every day one of my affiliates doesn't earn anything. Yet i earn $4 an hour with it for every other hour of the day. (coincidence?), happens every day. - Another affiliate of myn gives me 3 leads a day, 6 days a week. (1 day, always the same day doesn't get any leads). - Another site of myn has jumped from 10 000 uniques a month to 40 000 uniques a month over the past 3 months. (Highly targeted traffic). While the traffic has increased, so have the clicks, the leads and sales haven't improved one bit. (I get a feeling an advertiser has a set rate installed for me). Is there any way tracking codes of companies can be reviewed? Checked over? Just for my own comfort?
There is no way to check this kind of thing without installing a script on their server (which is unlikely they'll let you do), but I think Amazon do it to me (or they just have super low conversion rates)...
That's exactly what I think EPN is doing to its affiliates. I tell you the wealthier a company gets the more smart it becomes at getting money from you without spending too much on you. Errogance is involved in that too. I mean they know the people will continue driving traffic to Ebay (since for some it is their livelihood) but EPN now has a full control how much they will pay to who.
If you have large pageviews daily, look at your EPC. It's a good indication if something is not right.
I used Yahoo for 2 months. I had 4462 clicks, not one conversion or sign up. Now tell me in wrong. But that seems fishy.
