it has been a few days since everyone said their sites got updated. Ive been running this website for 6 months. It has 1000+ links, pa and da 40+. However, my pr is still 0. Can anyone tell me wt is going on?
I found out that new domain (less than 1 year) usually don't have the PR assigned for this update. It looks true to me.
The pr which google has given is probably of the may-june period and since your site came after that , there was no update for your site.
It's going to be more than a little annoying after waiting all these months to see an update and now I'm going to get nothing until the next update... 9 more months will put us in October, at which time my newest site will be online for 17 months. This is getting kind of ridiculous... I just want to see the value to know how I'm doing.
PR updated 4 days ago! If you have not seen any updates on your websites, than I am sure your website is not at least 6 months old! It has been observed in this update that google has not given PR to sites that are new (though its just an observation and nothing authentic).
Or, your site just didn't get a PR change ... why the assumption that each update your site HAS to change? Several of mine are still at zero, one stayed at 4. I haven't done a thing to that PR4 one so no real surprise it didn't make 5.
In fact you seam to be wrong! I have a new domain, it is less than 1 year old, and it just changed from PR0 to PR1. And for those who are suggesting building more backlinks I can say that in my case I had less than 20 backlinks to my site, my conclusion is simple - unique content is that what really matters and of course traffic that I am able to get with that content.
PR is less and less important for GG (last update was 8-9 months ago) I got a PR4 this time instead of 3, but my website is 3y old. I think yours is too young

I would recommend keeping some domains on the backburner and build links to them slowly. I have a site that's 6 months old and it didn't get PR with the update, but I have a site with less than 100 links and its PR went up (the domain itself is over 5 years old though). A bit of a mystery, but as most other users said, age is an important factor.
PR has been updated and everyone get a little bit change after update. How long you've started your site? How much you've backlinks?Does the links are from some popular sites?I think your site is new and not mature enough. As much as I know the new sites doesn't get any updated PR.
