So there is the SEO site I saw last night: http://www.area51marketing.com/blog/ I'm thinking the whole thing sounds too good to be true. They reccomend using directories like yahoo... didn't google recenlty change their algorithym against this stuff???
It's notyour blog, right? getting links from directories still always a good ideas. google dont do anything much for paid directory yet. and i think google still treat yahoo fairly as other directories with same though.
nah collecting links is still in the running and i rekon still one of the most important factors to successful seo. i beleive that is going to change over the next 6 months though when google somehow detects people who buy links
Google is just trying to scare everyone from selling links (really they dissaprove selling links for PR but, anyone can claim that they bought them for traffic !!!!) They just want to be the only ones selling advertising on the internet ... they know its a very profitable industry, that is what has made them the empire that they are ...
