    Hi,

I checked my sites ranking on Google for all the keywords I use last Wednesday 21 April. They were all doing fine, one in particular was at No. 1 in Google the other on page one or two.

Checked them again on Thursday 22 April and they were no where to be seen. I´ve no idea why! Even worse so far all my pages have stayed down.

Has anyone else seen something similar last week? Has there been any changes to Google that happened last week?

Anyone got any ideas why my site would suddenly just drop out of the sky like that?

Any help and advice would sure be a help. I did notice there was a lot of crawler errors on the 21 April but I have corrected them and the site is still not showing up on the searches.

    Many thanks

Hi, there have been major worldwide changes in Google's algorithm in the last couple of weeks. Google's infamous 'Panda' update has been applied across all english language Google sites, and this really affects the rankings of sites with low quality content that scrape other sites content. Content Farms like assoicated content and ehow have been affected, have a real good look at your site, its content and see if it fits into this category and think how to create more original and unique content

its all related to the recent panda update.. if your site depends on site that slap with the update then your site is affected.. fall of one site can affect others that link to it..

It is always advisable that you update your website atleast once a month. So your web pages are being crawled by Google. Always ensure that your content contains keywords and related keywords with ~2 to 4 density in your content. Follow this and see the changes. Google will take at least 15 to 20 days to re-index your new content.
