Seems to me these results are outputting differently than any other terms Ive seen before... After a misspelling of a company name (wickes, not wicks) it shows alt. spelling, etc.. what do you think? http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=wicks+furniture&spell=1
By the time I got there alll looked as usual. Did not see various spellings. Glad to say I am no longer left out. Shannon
I can see it from Japan. Great idea by G. No need to click through to the suggested results - they are right there.
I can see it, it shows about 5 links that are normal, then 5 in the suggested spelling. Could be annoying but probably very helpful...
Search for "wicks" I'm seeing the first five results for "wicks" then a line that says Did you mean wickes? and 3 results for wickes and then 2 more results for wicks. It's a neat idea if I did in fact misspell my search, but it would be an annoying "feature" (kinda like all the "features" in MS Word) if I in fact had spelt my search term correctly and Google didn't believe me.
Funny, I was about to start a thread noticing the same thing with something I've just searched for http://www.google.com/search?q=american+business+center&hl=en&lr=
I expected to find the alternative was american business centre not american business center pittsburgh
I blogged about Google's Inline Revisions a while ago. Seems pretty useless at times though for misspellings it could have a use I guess.
