My site has been flooded for the last few days with this GoToMyPC.com ad via google adsense, sometimes taking up every ad slot on my site. I also notice it taking up all ad slots on THIS SITE as well. Their software doesn't even run on the platform most of my users use. So, it really is strange. I figured they were doing CPM based ads on my site for some dumb reason, but then realized the same thing here. So, then I could to thinking, they must be paying high CTR to Google and using keywords like "vbulletin" or such. I really don't know. Anyone else see this or have such ads on their site as well?
If you dont want their ads showing on your site, just go to your adsense control panel and filter that url.
I know I can filter them, my day is not much differen than normal (from a adsense perspective) so I am not going to nuke them just yet. But, it's annoying see their ads on two or three slots on the same page.
Been seeing it a lot on StatCounter.com, too, in the past day or so. Actually saw a commercial for it on TV earlier tonight -- CNBC or the like, IIRC. Someone in marketing's throwing a lot of money around...
