Anyone Else Seeing a Downward Trend in CPM?

Past 3 days seem to have dropped by a significant ammount. I do not believe it to be something I did to the site, and the number of clicks has improved, but I am noticing a downward trend in my CPM...

It might be time for me to try a new category or something for ads, this is a bit strange.

It's actually a holliday weekend in the US. That probably is having an effect.

But Both Impressions and CTR are the same. The clicks are higher...

Im not sure, maybe its just taking place for the past few days. Hopefully it will pick up soon again.

The weekends are always slower for me, but I did see a pretty big drop in per click payout. One site has been very consistent on its average because it gets enough clicks to be statistically of use (well over a hundred per day) and it has has a very focused target that gets the same ads on a daily basis. The same ads are showing, so at first I thought the advertisers bids had dropped, but checking overture, I see it is the same. I sure hope yahoo isn't taking a bigger cut - but they still pay more than google. Hopefully it was just a fluke.

Yeah, but I am not so sure. Like you, I run a site which is in the hundreds of clicks range, and yesterday turned out to be my highest overal impression day and clicks day so far in the month and a half I have used Y!PN. However, my Revenue was only slightly higher than yesterday, which was hardly high at all (below average for me anyways).

I to also have noticed lower CPM for the past 3-4 days. Wonder what YPN is up to?

Yes my CPM and payout per clicks have also all dropped. Looks like today also... maybe YPN is leleving off or their own 'smart pricing' is kicking in as they launch officialy, the fast ride to riches may be ending already.

Holiday weekend in the US? If you are referring to Veterans Day, it's hardly the kind of weekend that would slow down your traffic.

Today went rather well, so maybe things are getting back to normal. I guess it could just be a small temporary dip. Id be glad to hear if a few of you are also seeing improved CPM again.
