Anyone else noticing dropping in rankings?

Last few days I've been dropping down in the rankings for key terms that i've been 1st and 2nd for for the past 2 or 3 months. Could it be the Google is getting ready to roll out an update?

 

Where did you check your rankings for your key terms? Google shouldnt update until april, late march at earliest since they just finished.

 

I was #6 for a day, then dropped to the 2nd page, now I'm at 14 I think. Bleh...

 

I was #1 then I dropped down to #1... and a few keywords I was #2 and I dropped down to #1...

 

haven't noticed any drop in ranking or serps positions but i have noticed the taffic from google has dropped almost 40% in the past 3 weeks. (all of feb - jan was fine)?

And there has been lots of chatter on WMW about shifting of late.

 

google's algorithm changes much more frequently, I would say at least once a week. it doesn't just change during a pagerank update..

BTW your toolbar Pagerank has nothing to do with your SERPS rankings

 

yea reallly.
i just noticed that the past few days i've been shifting alot through the ranking. i've noticed that ranking from google.co.uk usually shift over to regular google.com ....

 

Mostly must be a change in algorithm, more pages of my sites were indexed last week, no rank droppings as such. hopefully not,

 

Me is going up and down like a yoyo....
One day on first page, the day after down to nowhere.
What a pain......

 

I am not sure about the algo change but we have lost some serious traffic from Google. Compared to January, its 30% less in February. I dont know what's wrong, but hope it will be fixed soon.

some of my results dropped about two weeks ago but this only lasted for a week and then returned to normal, i thought it might be to do with a site redesign i did but results are back now.
very annoying when it does happen for no reason...

 

No drop...sitting at # 2 for 'custom top 8'

 

Updates are quarterly.. however Data Refreshes happen all the time.

That makes one question what the free seo report offers...

Since you mentioned I checked the ranings through Keytracker and found some of them quiet down. I hope this is a temporary thing and things are back to normal soon.

The ranking of our main keyword drop someday to 60th and than after this it always come back to a better position than before. From 60 -> 30, 60-> 26 and now 60 -> 18.
I hope it will continue this way

 

Same here... Some top terms going from #2 - #60 and back again. Maybe they just like to flip a switch and see what we scream about in the forums.
