A lawyer will not sue for that name. In fact ebay may buy it if it got big enough.

I haven't had any problems with PayPal and I have been a member since they started (I used X.com). eBay has given me some problems but nothing big. With the two companies I sometimes feel like I am getting nickled and dimed to death with feeds.

I am tired of their little nifty ways of slowly taking your money with all these fees, that no matter which account you have, you run into them.

eBay's lawyers disagree with you. I know this story, the hard way.

Also, look up how easy it is for major corporations to win WIPO decisions. eBay doesn't need to buy that domain, they can (legally) take it for free.

Here the beauty of it all, as a seller I can no longer leave negative feedback for a buyer, so the bastar# left me negative feedback after screwing me over and I have lost my product, my money, my ebay feedback score of 100% and I cant even warn any other seller that this jerk is playing the system.....

working paydotcomdotcom with your sales items for
    payment? Let's be creative now.

Not Happy with Paypal at all. I was earning money selling an ebook which led to other purchases of ad leasing. I was earning money. When all of a sudden my paypal account gets frozen. They said for there acceptable use policy. no mlm, get rich whatever. My business did not even fit into there policy. I tried to get them to review it and change their opinion. They just denied me. Plus the funny thing is this happened last year. They said that it would be limited for 180 days. The 180 days have passed so I asked them to take off the limited usage. They wouldn't do it. Paypal is respected by too many and someone has got to take them over. The fact that most items on ebay are sold by paypal is ridiculous.

And when PayPal screws a customer it gets to keep their money?

Can you imagine if a real bank behaved that way?

I love both ebay and paypal. Also all the peoples that i know have no problems and the people i buy and sell stuff to are great to deal with. So you cant hate ebay and paypal for one thing that went wrong.

This new feedback system where the seller can't leave bad feedback is absolute bullshit.

I do understand why they have done it (kind of)
Just... I don't really think it's the best solution to the problem.

The feedback system probably has a lot to do with how ebay got popular in the first place.
Now they have stuffed it

Or is this just an Aussie ebay thing?

I forget what the actual decision was, but it's definitely not trademark infringement to have a [company]sucks.com domain. As long as it is being used as a complaint site and not just a domain name collecting hits, there is legal precedent for it to be in the clear.

eBay isn't the only place these people target. There are thieves and scammers in every market.

We all know they prey on greed, but we still keep falling for it!

If a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is, and we're about to get ripped off!!

Instead of looking back in anger, we should probably spend more time upfront checking out the deal before we commit.
