Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

Payments even from infolinks, mediashakers, hotfile & rapidshare got reversed from them

 

Maybe they stopped all transactions from indian bank accounts since they are updating their system and removing personal payment column.
They told me, it's a technical issue initially, but then said, it's related to the bank issue only.

 

Paypal guys are telling again and again that only personal payment are effected but all payment that were in services category are affected, then why they are not officially announcing that there is some issue with paypal for India, and they are fixing this,

This problem is for India only, and it shows how careless Paypal is for India, if this problem was for US, i know it was fix with in few hours,

if this process remains soon people will transfer to other site, as i got message from manny bidding sites that are talking with paypal and no solutions comes, they will ask to take payment through other payment gateway.

 

Will my Goods Payments that were reversed will also be returned to my account?????

 

chill out guys! i am sure the paypal technicians are hard at work to fix this issue. why not wait until tuesday? Last time it took 14 days (2 weeks) to fix a technical glitch. why not take your mind off this and come back on monday.

The more you anticipate, the longer it gets!

 

If it's only Indian Bank account, unverified accounts should not be affected. right?

 

every India accounts , either personal or premier or business.

 

Reversed payments won't be reversed. You have to request the sender to resend.

 

Every Indian PayPal account is affected.. In both ways.

 

I think buyer must resend it as a service with a shipping address. Then it's ok!

I took a step forward. Made a call to NDTV from Bhopal (MP)
Personally visited two local newspaper offices and told them about the issue..

Magically, the ppl at both newspaper offices knew what is Paypal and why it is used. They were easy to convince.
Had to rack my brains with the NDTV folks.. but they got my point (vaguely, as apparent from their talk)

 

What the NDTV person said???

The last mail I received from Paypal was at 11-30 A.M..After that no mails from Paypal...

ICICI Bank did not respond....(Worse than Paypal)

TextLinkAds also did not respond to any of the mails send..

Why is Paypal not commenting on what is going on...Atleast that would have been a relief...

 

A better chance that it crops up in the newspapers.. about NDTV, my effort looks in vain.. We'll have to pester them more about the issue.. When I tol them I was from Bhopal, at first they thought I had some update on the "Income Tax office raids on Corrupt IAS officer" issue, and they were ecstatic.. but as soon as they heard me blabbing about Paypal and all, they were like "hang up ASAP"

 

many were making money with warez uploading and asking NDTV to flash the news..lol.....
