Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

Yes it's not good for us and how can buyers add shipping address if we are doing service! Don't know what's in PayPal's mind!

No need to worry...You will get your payment..But there will be some delay...All of us have money locked up in "Black Holes"....You are not alone...Need not worry..Let us stand together in this crisis...

 

1) Is our Money Safe?

Yes our money is safe as it already cleared by PayPal and only delay because of some issue with RBI.

2) Suppose, if paypal is unable to find any solutions, what happens then? Will our money return back to Paypal ? or will it be lost ?

Yes it will return to PayPal then we can ask Check from them.

3) What about future business? Is it safe to do business with Paypal now? My customers want to pay with Paypal but what is the use when I cannot access the money. what should i do?

Yes it will be safe, don't be panic, it happened in past with them. They also knows importance of us!

 

Don't think so as most of the seo work outsource from India

It's technical problem and will take time :|

 

Because PAYPAL is loosing huge money through personal options.

People are using it to save the money of paypal fee.

 

Its canceled fee which is refunded by PayPal which was earlier charged by them.

 

I wonder why people get so panicky over such problems? Doing business is never easy and one has to be ready to face such obstacles.
If one tries to understand the reasons behind the present crisis, it might help them to see things more clearly.

It appears nothing more than a compliance issue and Paypal will find a way to meet it... after all, they earn a lot more by way of fees from innumerable Indian accounts to just not do anything!

If this is anything to do with RBI rules and taxation, our money should be remained in the account should not be reversed with out even informing us. Refunding without our acceptance is against TOS of paypal even. They cannot just send back our money from our account with out even informing us. Very unprofessional!!!

And the fees, why should we or our clients should bare it, none of us asked for reversal or a refund Its the mistake of paypal and why should we bare it

Who is going to return our money, how many clients will do that?

What about the sales generated from the websites? Not all of us are service providers to have friendly interaction with clients so that we can request money to send again. Marketers may not have that interaction with clients and some of them may not pay again.

More over if this continues we cannot use paypal, because if every transaction is being reversed why the hell we use the system.

 

The reversal process is still on. I just got 2 emails from PayPal one of them sent at 10.35 am.

Guys Just do your jobsand few days forget about paypal and payments.

If you need funds urgent then use Moneybookers alot of more option explain your clients about your PayPal account.

Yeah it is still on going. I too got one of my payment reversed 2 hours back. I just hope it gets over soon.

 

Yes best thing is wait till they not solved their issue and come with some notification or explanation.

 

Hello i want to know one thing i withdraw my money on 2 feb 2010 to my bank account and paypal shows status completed and on 4 feb i got 2 reversed payments so my whole transaction money will be converted to bank account as it shows status completed.

As if now i have negative paypal balance.

 

You're right. Panicking wont help. But the point still remains. Till now we no one has received any official reason why the withdrawals are held for so long. The only erply is regarding the personal payment option. We just have people assuming that it's a compliance issue, reversal issue etc. I haven't seen anyone suggesting that they got a reply explaining the problem regarding the withdrawals. Thats why people are panicking. I know I wont panic if they sent me a straight answer axplaining the reason whatever it is. But if they dont, people are bound to feel insecure and lose trust in them.

Boy there are so many transactions reversed of mine that now I have to keep an excel sheet of reversed amount, will email clients and have to keep track as well.

I do not want to loose my hard earned money.

 

I had 6 transactions from 1st Feb. 2 of them were reversed in past two days. I requested my clients to resend payment and one paid. the other saying he hasn't got the money back to his PP. I received two payments yesterday and still not reversed.

It is not Panic..It is really hatred towards the monopoly called "Paypal"....Who gave them the right to reverse a payment shown as completed????? We have hundreds of Dollars locked somewhere..we do not know...

If it is just a compliance issue..they should have given us prior notice..

Atleast they should respond to our mails or phone queries with genuine reasons and not with copy/paste canned responses...

Yes paypal fees is the main reason because of this they are doing all this.

As they are loosing money and now they have removed personal options as well.
