Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

The possibilities are infinite for me atleast. Take your pick for your business.

etc etc

 

So anything done via Personal payments tab during the last few days are being rejected and money sent back
Right ??
Is it only applying to Indians ??

 

But I'm not from India but Australia! =[

 

Well people the last time it happened,it took close to 15 days. last year the transfer done only for 3-5 days were not being credited but the payments done prior to that and after that were credited .. it was lot of mess last year

I think its not a coincidence that the same problem has raised now .. may be paypal need to submit certain transaction details to RBI and other government agency
Or
Paypal lacks useable cash flow during this month
Or
Paypal makes some investments in shares,stocks etc during this month
Or
Dutchse bank which is via we get money through neft transfer is having some problem
Or
Paypal has not funded their Dutchse bank account...

 

I think paypal having prob now a days. They are working, or they are to prevent fraud. thats whay they do that with personal payment.

 

I also got this email. But the payment in context was not sent as a "personal" payment becoz that option was not at all displayed while sending the payment.
Also the money which they say has been returned to my account is not yet credited.
Why is this happening to Indian customers (the withdrawal delay and no more personal payments)?.

 

This is absolutely ridiculous....
When they have identified a technical issue within their systems atleast by this time they should know the resolution time. They cant keep saying "Unfortunately, we dont have a resolution timeframe as of now"..

 

This is serious ..
So you are telling that not only personal payments but all payments made by/made to Indians are being reversed ??
This is crazy....

 

Well I just hope they get this resolved soon. Because all our financial planning goes to dogs if we don't receive the money in time as we had planned. Especially those who sell on ebay like me.

 

No their email mentions they dont allow sending personal payments to and from Indian accounts (you can continue paying for services/goods). However in my case its incorrect.

 

this is very strange problem. Why Paypal is only targeting India? Today i received 2 payments from my clients but don't know about what will happen

 

I sent payment as services... so why did they send me an email saying they returned my payment though it didn't get credit to my account

i too have the same problem. whether to send or hold the items customer bought in ebay. Because if i send them i have to invest money and do not know when i will get the money..... this is becoming a nightmare now.... why a 20 billon dollar company has problems of this sort. If they are allowing indians to withdraw money then that should have a good and smooth system for it.

This problem already occured last year so Paypal should have had done everything to make sure that it does not happen again... It only reduces our faith in Paypal... surely we do not have any other option right now other than Paypal so we are bound to face all the injustice that Paypal does to us...

Same happens to me .. I got a email .. but money is still there..!!

Maybe Paypal trying to fake some Indian Authorities!

 

Its only a GUESS,I think this is what happened:

1)Paypal have an TAX/Internal audit issue with Govt. Of India regarding Personal payments (as they are handled separate than business payments)

2)Paypal stopped Personal payments options in Indian paypal users

3)Next day they realized oh God Indian users also receive personal payments from outside,so what to do?

4)They apply a Block on Withdraw until they can think about it (and sit over Millions of Indian rupees).

5)They started refunding NON Indians users who sent personal payments to Indians users (But their system is broken and it sent only emails and not actually the money refund)

6)They are NOW withholding all Withdraws untill they clear this mess as Refunding money will make most of Indian paypal users accounts in Negative and they can claim some money if they withhold transfers and Credit them back to indian users paypal accounts...


Make some sense.YES OR NO does not matter - the Truth is paypal is Broken like hell this time!

Paypal is enjoying the fees. I just got an email with the same as you. I contacted with my buyer. He is a very good person. He paid me again with Paypal invoice.

 

The Truth is maybe they want to get on the NEWS of Indian News!

Since ebay started there TV campaigns recently .. there might be a chance that Paypal want to establish themselves in India too!

Cause I didnt see any TV ad saying anything about PaisaPay!

Seriously.. they must establish there business in India aswell..
Will help Seller like us for instant support and to fight for the scams!
We Indians might be the third largest users of Paypal!

 

Happened last year also....took around 2 weeks that time...Neways paypal isnt a scam....They wont run away with your money..So be patient...I dont think there's anything to worry about...
