Don't worry , i think paypal won;t reverse it again.. i've got my reverted money from my client yesterday and money is still safe , but i'm not sure for future

I am having same problem. My account had $237 out of which i transferred $200 couple of days ago to my bank. In status it was showing complete, now they revert the $237 from my account. Since I already transferred $200 by account balance was showing -$200. Then my buyer sent me the money again and it is showing $37. I don't know what happened to my $200.

 

Guyz now i bit more worried


When i do some calculations i m getting different figure then earlier which is less

Got a message from paypal only few minute ago that says,

Dear XXX,

Unfortunately, we’ve had to stop allowing personal payments (such as
gifts for a friend or family member) to be sent to and from India.

Any personal payments that you’ve recently sent to India have been
automatically reversed, and the money returned to you. If you sent the
payment with a bank account, the funds will be returned to your PayPal
balance. If you paid with a credit card, the amount will be credited
back to your card.

If you’re trying to send money for a personal payment (such as a gift
for a friend or family member), we ask that you find another way to pay
until we’re able to restore payments to India.

We are trying to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and we’re
sorry for any inconvenience.

well, the main reason is Indian RBI ( Reserve bank of India ) not allow to send/receive personal payments to america. if your relatives are staying at america, ask them. we can not send money threw Western Union or any other way to america. we can only send threw Bank transfer and bank deduct some fees for that, something like 5 % to 15 %.

and as my think, Paypal dont know this situation.

and now they got inquiry from their Government or our Government ( I am not sure ), they has to reverse the payment.

 

Everyone is getting worried mate.But lets wait and see till monday

 

Better not to do any transaction with Paypal until this issue gets resolved...Or else you are taking a huge risk..

 

u know until they officially announce the things people get worried and get the new stories

Ask Miguel from Paypal...why they have reversed payments other than personal..They are bad copy/pasters..Just sending canned messages to a serious issue without proper clarification...Paypal SUCKS!!!!

 

In such case PayPal should mention this on the website or as warning on every Indian Accounts. I am sure even as we speak lots of people must be making transaction using PayPal. If its a huge risk which can result in loss of money then PayPal should block all sorts of transaction for Indian Accounts.

 

That means we don't need check our bank account .. ,,So when we will get our withdrawal money to our paypal account ..And if we got then it will be reveres again ?

 

Where are the authorities i am sure there are large amount of users from india and no proper response

 

I hope they'll make a public announcement as soon as they reverse all the payments..

 

as i said a few posts back when you send a personal payment you dont get charged a fee because paypal dont pay tax on it if you are really getting paid for a service its called tax fraud. Im sure paypal have a TOS about this to cover them in any legal way. but when you state "there is that option on PP with no PROPER guidelines" its called common sense if its a service you click service if its goods you click goods if its personal what would be about 0.5% of your transactions you click personal. PP are not stupid if a country has something like 70% personal payments they are going to take action agasint that country.

 

I just hope that they don't close down on us and walk away with all the money.. Even I did couple of personal payments recently. 2-3 sellers were very worried about the charrges and asked me to use this option. But again many of my clients(from Australia and US only) have been paying as 'gifts' and I DID NOT ask them to. so why don't these PP guys crack down on them?
