Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

Yes and it will be big problem for those who paid Hosting and domain bills between 1st to 4th Feb,2010.

 

Now any good news will only come from Monday as I have no hopes for tomorrow since half day.

 

i paid my hosting bill on 1st will it get reversed ??

 

Chance is always high and If it is done with HostGator then I don't think so their will be any issue as their invoice always carry their address.

This is what clearly seems to be happening now. All withdrawals from 1st Feb. onwards are being reversed. Personal payment or goods or services, that doesn't matter.
I received an email from paypal for a previous withdrawal on 27th Jan. saying

"I understand that your concern is regarding on your withdrawal funds to
your bank account and I really apologize for the inconvenience and delay
of this transaction. We are currently updating our systems and, as a
result, certain features have been affected. Please rest assured that
your funds are on the way now to your bank. We're aware of this issue
and we would like to assure you that our technicians are actively
working to resolve it. I have passed on your information for inclusion
in any upgrade. I regret any inconvenience this may have caused you and
appreciate your patience and understanding."


So who knows, all those till 31st Jan may receive their money sometime. Or maybe this is just anoter crappy template issue.

 

That's a nice bit of research but I'm afraid it ain't gonna help. Someone already called the Singapore office yesterday and all they said was "Contact the US customer care".

 

I guess from Monday we would see some people start reporting that funds got in bank transfer. I wish someone may make comments like this from tomorrow onwards.

Ria they dont deal with accounts. You need to call US numbers for account issues.

Latest When i called they said "There were some issues with the thing and now it has been sorted out ". I asked twice whether i shall transfer the $$ to my bank account and they suggested me to go for it . the money that i recieved was sent to my account yesterday and till now there are no reversals . What about you guys ? i am not sure whats going to happen.
