Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

You are right to some extent, it will go to bank account only but matters in terms of tax, i use to withdraw to my bank account but recently i started using CC to withdraw, actually my C.A asked me to do so, there are surely couple of tax related issues, if u want i will send you (after asking CA the exact details) more info on couple of days via PM.

I withdrew money sometime yesterday, but it is still showing pending so far. Just hoping to see the hard cash soon.

Guess I should rephrase my question . how should I ask them to pay ? As 'goods' or as 'services' ? I am a service provider and have several clients and I don't think it would be feasilbe to ask them to enter the 'shipping address' everytime they send me payments. Will payments sent as services also get reversed.

PS: are the charges on 'goods' payments higher than that of 'service'?

I never use Personal Payment to get paid from my client, I always send them invoice and select SERVICE... But 2 of my transactions are reversed... But the clients are genuine they reissue the payment and also bear the fees... But what happen if it reverse again???

Now my client also do a business they will not bear PayPal fees every-time...

Is not like that PayPal issue double charge for a single transaction? And why the client pays the fees, this the problem with PayPal not by us so they have to pay this fees...

About the Personal Payment my opinion is, PayPal has introduced the Personal Payment, its not by the people. They do this for attract more people. Now when they misuse it PayPal going to blame everybody.

PayPal should blame themselves, they don't do the proper marketing research and introduce Personal Payment and now they reverse transaction to everybody even he / she not using Personal Payment...

 

But who the hell will pay the fee again they refunded but only amount after deducting the fee

i think indians have overused the personal payment option....

 

I withdrew 59K from my Paypal to HDFC bank account on February 1. Now it shows that transfer completed on February 2. But still I haven't received anything in my bank account. Earlier I used to get money in 2-3 days for HDFC bank.

And i never asked for any personal payments! I paid fees for all transactions!

 

Well this is a serious issue, my $800 which i withdrawed is stucked with paypal, so far only one reversal and my client paid that too. Its hard for most of the people to ask clients, hopefully i am keeping list of clients and their paypal for every transaction i do here.

 

NO jimmy, they have no permission to withdraw funds from your bank accounts. Once you withdraw its all yours.

Yes right, once it is bank it is safe - but I withdrew funds today (ofcourse it was not in my bank coz they literally take ages now to transfer) and they reversed few high value transactions and my account went in negative so they reversed the withdrawals.. darn !!!!
Well, I guess there is no use to withdraw also if they are not sending the money..

 

Good that they finally shut the door on this misuse. Tired of having to deal with scammy, scammy indians who just don't want to pay fees. Time to man up and do the right thing!
