Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

Apparently so, but I think it will create all sorts of problems for you as a supplier and us as a client. What a mess...

 

Yeah i also withdrawal to my bank account on 1st feb,,, just came here from SBI ATM but did not got yet ...
As i usually get within 3 days.

 

This is the reply I got on asking them how long it would take to fix the withdrawal to Indian banks...

withdrawal on Jan. 27, 2010, please allow 5-7 business days for these
funds to be transferred to your bank account. In the event that you

yeah and it is easy to get negative balance as they are just randomly picking up transactions (personal or purchase) and reversing em.

 

Couple of my payments got reversed today, account showing negative balance now.

Negative of $7600 - Well, I guess you are lucky.. at least they didn't reverse your bank withdrawals to cover up and charge u fees for it .. this is what happ to me today when my account went negative.

 

I don't know why paypal only care about Indian Users?

I don't really believe that is the case. There might be an increase in fraudulent activity within the paypal system, but I don't think there is any particularity with accounts opened and operated by Indians. As a matter of fact, I would say that the opposite is true, you are more likely to find a fraudulent seller anywhere else but India.

I have said this in the past, as time goes by and my career progresses, I can safely say that doing business in India, and with Indians was the best decision I have ever made as a business's Man. Of course that there are exceptions, but generally, In India there us a culture of service, a culture of honesty and hard work. The quality of the work is very good, and if one establishes a long term work relationship with an Indian company, or a technician, the quality of the work delivered increases with time, reaching the standards you see in the US or in Europe.

This is why its so hard for me to see hard working honest people getting stripped our of their money without any notice and/or justification. Even if the situation gets resolved, this was unacceptable, and unethical.

I wonder what would happen if this had been..lets say..directed to the UK Market...

You never know, they may reverse bank withdrawals as well, need to transfer funds to another bank now.

 

Man!! did you read this thread? We all got Negative balance. Mine is now with -367$.

 

dnt worry , affiliate payment reversals were a mistake from paypal side..they said they will re issue the payments....so no need to worry...

Not Totally correct.. govt must have said that what is allowed what is not allowed if u want to work with indians.. specially since paypal is a foriegn country then there will be more regulations

 

Cool. I think people started misusing "personal payment" option, so i am not at all surprised that they limited this option.

 

Misused is a small term ,they literally abused it..thats why this shit has happened...

 

I renewed all my domains till 2011 and prepaid for my hosting.

Luckily, none of my payments have been reversed.

I don't have much balance in my account.

If any of my bigger payments are reversed, I will have a negative balance too....

In many cases, non-personal payments have been reversed too.
