Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

Daamn! It took you 1 month to reach? that's really lame! Man!

 

Indian postal service is not that fast everywhere

 

It is just ridiculous that in spite of charging so much fees, Paypal does not prefer to give a better service by employing more efficient courier service!

They have a bad cheque delivery service, a bad bad EFT service and a bad bad bad rate of transaction fees.
So, why everyone is using them? I know we currently don't have any better alternative.
I strongly wish to Google to roll out Google Checkout for international customers.
If they do, I'll be one of the first few to shift.

 

Agreed with you - One gets so little after the money conversion is made. Their services are okay but not at Par and as expected from a Commercial Establishment. Just because they were the first to foray into this and enjoy a monopoly position, does not mean they will enjoy the same forever. If something better comes in, everybody will jump into the new bandwagon then.

@itm007 I would suggest you wait 5 - 10 more days, esp if you live in a small city. If you get the check once you cancel the check, it will be an all-loss state for you.

 

I live in gurgaon (NCR) and the postal services here are fine but yes in case I contact paypal and get check after it then it will be disaster moreover paypal cancels check after 45 days

I have successfully got my PayPal money transferred to my account. Requested on 10th and got it on 17th.

 

I am, and I guess most of us, is ready to pay the service charge if necessary. i don't wanna see my hard earned money roaming around Internet.
Xoom already stopped accepting PayPal payments, and might stop EFT to India in future. Who knows.

 

Please provide me answer if you are reading this, does any one withdrew funds without entering Pan card details and got funds on your account ?

 

This is just to let everyone know..

I got funds in my bank within 1½ days after requesting a withdraw.

 

I was getting error on entering my PAN no. Today I tried the same number and it was accepted!
Looks like they have solved the technical problem. Is there anybody else with the same experience?
