Well, the amount should have been reversed back to your account by now. Since it is not back, I suggest you request paypal to initiate a trace.

Also for future use, upgrade your paypal account to a business account.
Will save lot of trouble

 

Well the Export code turned out to be quite a dismal thing.... and we can all Rejoice in anticipation of the resuming withdrawal option to our banks now without much hassle. Its been more than a month of sadness and disappointment.. Finally its all over.

 

I am still nervous will believe only when I have money in my bank account

 

Relax Brother.. You should trust PayPal..If they say they'll resume means everything will be normal..

 

Just one question.. Which type of payment is considered personal ? Will the money I receive from a free lancer site be considered as personal?

Please note that according to Indian law, based on the value of withdrawal and the purpose code in your declaration, your bank may require you to provide documentary proofs such as invoices / goods receipt forms as applicable to reconcile with your withdrawal.

Can anyone suggest what kind of invoice the bank can ask for? Will it be a Paypal invoice print out?

I think the receipt generated by PayPal when you receive the money will be good enough. I generate email payments where I use a PayPal outlook wizard and give customers my PP acc customized link. That way the customers only have to pay by logging in and there's a very little confusion. Also the payments is locked for services along with the description of services so it cannot be tampered with. After payment both me and my customers get a PP generated receipt. So for me that would be the invoice cum payment receipt. If you use invoices from PayPal then a print out of that would be sufficient. All they want is a doc to tally your receipts. (If at all they ask i.e. ......)

Is it possible to transfer the money to someone else's account who's not holding the paypal account?
Like If my name is Mr. A. XY and My Dad's name is Mr. D. XY.
May i enter D XY in the filed where it asks for name and account number while adding a bank account? or is it a must to match with paypal name?

Guys Export Code is ok. But once you mention that for your transaction then your IT auditor will also need to know your IEC code. PayPal does not need that. But it is mandatory for someone who is doing any type of Export in India. No-matter how small it is.

 

As stated in the Paypal blog they said that withdrawal made prior to march1st will be reverted back to our Paypal account. But still i have not got my money back. Have any one got your money .i am afraid.

I earn via text link ads and linkworth... they pay me via paypal every 1st and 10th on month respectively.... wht should be the proper purpose code for that withdrawal?
