Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

Hi, is this your first withdrawal to CC thru PP? i heard that first time withdrawal to CC will reverse? any info regarding this?? coz i have done first time on 17th feb PP says completed, but no amount in my CC yet!

I have a CC with Visa logo which I used to verify my PayPal account. I hope I'll be able to withdraw to that.

2 Questions:
- what's the fee for the withdrawal
- is there any currency exchange fee? by the bank I suppose?

I withdrew money on 19th using XOOM and I just need to get some funds and I'll transfer the money to my CC, will keep everybody posted on the development. Any pointers about the process from anybody who tried this recently (irrespective of failure or success) would be appreciated

 

I stay in a small town. How long does check clearance process take to clear the check once it reaches me? I have my account in SBI. any advice is appreciated.

 

In this ongoing issue you still tried to withdraw funds?? You should have waited little more days or till the next announcement of paypal.

 

got this problem too when with draw to my[some] local bank in indonesia,... they said not supported

Chq clearance wont take more than 2 days (as it is local check in INR), the only issue is the postal delay.

 

Well, if your city (like mien) is not having a CitiBank branch, then it will take around 10-12 days.

Say u asked for a check for withdrawal for money ...

Say u have never received the check then what

Do they cancel the check and refund u the money back to ur account as for withdrawal for bank they do when the bank rejects of some other reason ...

You mean request of a cheque from PayPal and deposition can working fine? Will get credited that amount into my bank with the cheque?

You have to wait for 45 days, before you ask paypal to cancel the check. Indian post sometime take long delays to deliver. There have been many cases, where people submit cancel request to paypal, then on the next day people get the check (which cant be cashed, as the check has been stopped). So best advice is wait for 30-45 days.

Do we not get tracking details?
Are the check withdrawls working fine?
Checks will ultimately go to overseas bank so if they are having clash with paypal it might get suspended as well

 

I added a new 'VISA' card to my account on 15th, verified it on 19th and gave withdrawal instructions. I got money in my account on 23th morning. I am finally relieved that there is a way to get money 'home' from my paypal account.
