Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

44.47 is the current rate right??

 

I have intiated an CC withdrawal on 18 feb 11:45 PM, at the same time next day paypal shows the transaction completed. I have received the credit on 20 feb. I have received an exchange rate of 46.10 per dollar. But the cc withdrawal limit is $500 per day.

After closely watching this thread. I would like to clear out few queries:

• I have tried XOOM, it has failed for me.
• I can not withdraw to bank account
• Cheques take too long & can go missing ( I dont want to re-request for a cheque )
• I dont have a CC

Now, i want to ask you guys.
Can i withdraw to a VCC from HDFC bank..??

If yes, then i have a doubt then VCC gets cancelled in 24 hours if not used.
So, if the withdrawal took over 24 hours, then where will my cash go. ( In the air i suppose )
As VCC is cancelled, paypal wont find it & cash can not be deposited to it.

I also want to ask this, how to withdraw from VCC if i get cash successfully.

Can i send cash to any else CREDIT CARD of my friend or else..??

Please provide me your inputs to solve these.

I am a noob with all these things, so please be calm to respond.

I have withdrawn money via paypal check on 15th feb and on 18th feb the status was " Check Issued ". Can any one tell me how many days it will take ? I live in Gurgaon ( NCR). Thanks!

 

Has anyone tried contacting paypal
Checks take up quite a lot of fee as well for transfers $5.5 for currency conversion.

Yes but we have no option at the moment so we have to manage with only working way at the moment.

Contacted Fahrad from paypal yesterday.
An agent replied on his behalf.
He says they are still experiencing issues related to bank transfers going to Indian Bank account.

This is what he said.....

"While we do not have a specific time frame on when this issue will be
resolved, I can assure you that Farhad and his team here are working
closely with the Reserve Bank of India to fix this issue as soon as
possible. We will keep posting updates to the PayPal Blog as we get
more information. http://www.thepaypalblog.com"

 

Unfortunately they arent actually updating us..

 

really , frustrated now.
more then 3 week, still cannt solved it?

 

If this is what they have to say... even now, after so many days of trying... I guess the resolution is still very far off and would not happen in this month!

If your VCC's are visa , then you can withdraw...

 

I read somewhere that paypal will update there policies and all around 10 March..then only this issue will be solved..

 

I requested some money on 16th I guess, And they said by 23rd of feb I will get the money on bank, instead I got a mail from paypal.

I got the reply today from Farhad Irani paypal team.
