Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

coz Indians abused it...

 

No its something to do with remitance i am not sure of what but certainly not coz it was abused

 

it came to my knowledge that some companies pay only Personal Payments

some companies object for making other types of payment

right now Personal Payments are blocked in India ... the only options available are Goods / Services for which we have to pay Paypal taxes for sending / recieving

so instead of blocking Personal Payments entirely in India , y don`t Paypal levy taxes on the Personal Payments to/from India on Paypal Indian Accounts ?

this way Indian users won`t have to ask companies to send specific types of payments

 

Is there any news regarding withdraw option to banks?

Not like that.. Most personal payments that I received were "from" buyers outside India.. They negotiated with me to lower the rates by a few dollars, and they would agree to send as a PP, so I would get the same amount, and they shove off a few bucks..

I bet this must be the case here with many sellers.. (especially in the case of low-cost services such as article writing, link sales, etc)

 

yea so what does that imply??Thats indians were ready to work for a lower rate coz they had the option to recover the funds by not paying the fees..

This is what is meant by abusing the system....

And you may agree or not agree , but its a fact that indians hate paying fees and all..Ever thought why adult websites hate Indian traffic??coz Indians dont want to pay a single penny..

exactly, I initiated PayPal account confirming process way back, and PayPal has sent emails but not the two deposits. It's been more than 2 weeks now. I think, as soon as bank withdrawal starts, the deposits would enter my account.

 

I just want to update my fellow DP'ians on a successful, Credit card withdrawal.. I made a withdrawal on 16th Feb and it was credited to my CC on 17 Feb. Quite fast. Also there's a $500 daily limit for CC withdrawal. Enjoy!

Not to a bank account. Linked to my PayPal account. The balance gets credited to the CC.. not the bank account..

 

All types of payments for first few days of this month. then they asked to use goods/ebay option.

 

Me too buddy.. I sincerely hope this withdrawal problem solves within next week. Else I will have to withdraw funds via Xoom or get a cheque from PayPal.

 

I afraid of using Check option, as it will take a long time to encash it. I will also prefer xoom, but better, if paypal open its way.

 

Checks is in INR so it will clear pretty fast

20-25 days u would get ur get check (and u can spend it as well if u want)......... 10 days max u'll get ur check (if u live in major city)...... and 2 days max to clear thereafter.

 

Finally it's Monday today. Hoping for some good news..

 

We got 132 payments reversed which was sent to INDIA who participated in a program which is on go with our site. paid them through alertpay. I guess paypal now review the payment than just block it.

We sent a mail mentioning the business procedure we go with. Our service is sold as goods (which give them commission and in turn we send reward to members as personal reward) which then got accepted by paypal.

but it is high time to go for another alternative than paypal. wish alertpay and moneybookers get as much popular as paypal soon!
