I have completed my Withdraw procedure through XOOM.
Done with all the verification and now waiting for the money to reach my bank account.

Once I'll get the money in account I will acknowledge regarding the withdrawal status and how to proceed.
Since according to Xoom policy, they says to complete the withdrawal process within 24 hours if withdrawal in the PNB Account, so need to wait for atleast 24 hours.

If not I expect money in my bank account up till monday for sure, ofcourse I have paid $14.99 withdrawal fee to Xoom just for the sake that atleast my money get out from Paypal because we never know When this issue will be resolved.

Exchange Rate that Xoom is Offering for today is : 45.9303 which is better than Paypal for sure.

So if you withdraw a bigger amount through Xoom, I think it will surely compensate your xoom service fees.

Atleast we can use Xoom till Paypal withdraw option is restored

Cool.. Thanks for the info :)

    Btw, a small calculation:

    Paypal's conversion rate: $1 = INR 44.89

So, if paypal resumes the withdrawal asap, then we would get

    Rs.44,890 for withdrawing $1,000 ($1030 = Rs.46,236)

If not, we would Rs.45,900 for withdrawing $1000 + $30 (fees)

More or less, Rs.300 loss as of now.

Hello everyone, I wish to inform you all that yesterday night at 2:00 AM I withdraw my money using Xoom.
Xoom gurantee this withdrawal status to be completed within 24 hours and money in bank on he same day if withdrawing in PNB Bank, so I expect the money to be in my bank till today evening.
But since today is Mahashivratri, and today is RBI official holiday so may be it may take up till monday for the money to come.

I will surely update all of you whenever I got money in my account.

Yes you will be needing a verified paypal account for sure to withdraw money into your bank account.
infact your Paypal name and the Bank Account holder name must be exactly same, even no change in spelling also.

Xoom is secure and they even have called few people who withdraw their money using Xoom, asking them the reason for withdrawal and photo proof.

I hope to get positive results from xoom till paypal fix this withdrawal problem

I also used xoom and withdrawed my money to HDFC bank. I used coupon code.. Code is XOOMONETIMER so my fee is waived. It took me 3 days to get into my account. I had verification call and asked my address. It is straightforward. If you need urgent money please go ahead with xoom.

Withdraw to credit card will work for sure, as in that case Paypal will send money to Visa/Mastercard and they will process the payment, and both these companies have necessary authorization...
