I agree they played a good game and took so many money as fee and conversion charge, etc..... They took all the fee charges which we saved by using Personal Payment (Full Life) :p:mad::rolleyes:

Now, one thing I can say is we would always think before using PayPal

I am from India. I initiated a withdrawal request of $712 from my paypal account to my bank account in 02/05/2010. After one day I saw the status shows Completed. But today when I logged to my paypal account I saw the money reversed to my paypal account. After currency conversion I got $663. So I lost abt $49. Even I didnt got any email frm paypal abt the reversal. I never faced cuch issue with paypal, I am using this paypal and bank account for morethan 1 year. name faced any problems. What is going on???? Why they reversed the money without our permission?

What they are doing is, cheating in exchange rate. Checkout the reverse transaction details. The money which reversed in INR is same, but the conversion rate from INR to USD is lower than whay they have given in case of USD to INR.

I have lost almost $150 USD in reversed transactions.

    Updates:
I just called up PayPal and I good news from them. I asked for the reason why my bank withdrawal being canceled and credited to my PayPal account.

A male executive from PayPal replied that they had technical problems and all the withdrawals done in that period of problem have been reversed back, but now the problem has been resolved and we can withdraw money to our bank account, he also ensured that bank transfer is working now for India.

This was the news I was waiting for. Can anyone confirm this by calling them again?

wow this is like paypal is shouting out to all because many received all business transactions as personal, we'll tighten up things from here.

I remember one service provider from India created multiple personal accounts and have me pay $50 to each to prevent transaction fees, hehe. That was like 5 years ago. now paypal is mad!

because of many of these things happening today, I'm afraid Paypal has the edge and if they want they can really +++ fees related to all transactions in and out of India and eventually other countries as well so my thought on this is because many businesses have ripped Paypal off for many years, just pay your transaction fees and that should make things back to fair and straight.

Paypal is just mad right now :(

    1. create a Paypal account for your friend/family and send the money to them
    2. wait for the problem to be fixed and then withdraw to your bank account
    3. OR withdraw with some other online xfer method
