Guys could you let me know what details should i use for "sender" of the payment. Should i use exact same details in both "sender" and "receiver" fields? how can send the money to myself. wouldn't it defeat the whole purpose of sending-receiving payments. Sender has to be different from the receiver. I mean even if I am acting as a sender of this payment, should i use "imaginative" US address and then put my real address in the "receiver" field? I am still not sure how to go ahead with this? I really want my money back from the hands of PayPal. thank you for helping me out on this. I read somewhere that Xoom doesn't allow intra-india transfers so i wanted to make sure i am doing it right before i go ahead and do it. thanks! sorry i know i am on the wrong thread but since everybody seems to be on this thread so i thought it would be better if i post my concern here. Good luck everyone!!

No email from PP, but the status says that "Bank Account has just sent you Rs..... INR with PayPal".
Do I need to withdraw money again? or should I wait.

They are making a windfall profit out of this issue...

The full amount was credited back to PayPal by TextLinkAds last night and the Negative balance became zero. Later PayPal has credited a lesser amount in my account..

So I send a mail to TextLinkAds, that the amount credited to my account was low..Here is the reply from TextLinkAds:
    ================
I apologize for the inconvenience, however we sent payment to you in the full amount, without any fees, and the issue you are experiencing is a matter that you will need to handle directly with PayPal.

Unfortunately, we are unable to reverse the payment we sent to you last night, however if you would like to be paid via another method in the future (starting March 1st), we suggest that you use Payoneer – a prepaid debit card from MasterCard. We do not send money via wire transfers, only check, PayPal or Payoneer.
    ========================================

    This clearly reveals the following:

    1. PayPal has not send the money to India. They were keeping the money and the transfer status was displaying as "completed".
    2. They reversed the full amount to TextLinkAds
    3. TextLinkAds pays full amount back to PayPal
    4. PayPal, instead of crediting the full amount, has adjusted the currency ($) after taking into account todays exchange rate + their conversion fees
    5. Since Dollar has appreciated when compared with Indian Rupee, They are making a windfall profit.
    6. They might be having knowledge that Dollar is going to appreciate, and this issue has been created to make a huge profit.
    7. RBI is not involved in this issue..
    8. According to their Terms of Services they are able to do anything
    9. This is the exact reason why they are not revealing exact cause of issue..

This is real cheating by PayPal.....

Who's game for trying a new thing? I initiated a transfer to my credit card but the wait is 5-7 days same a bank withdrawal so will know for sure in a week.

To withdraw funds to a credit card or debit card:
    1. Go to the PayPal website and log in to your account.
    2. Click "Withdraw."
    3. Click the "Withdraw funds to your card" link.
    4. Enter the required information.
    5. Click "Continue."

Debit Cards (also called check cards, ATM cards, or banking cards) are accepted if they have a Visa or MasterCard logo. Enter your card number without spaces or dashes.

This is based upon a mail response I got from Praypal, quoted here:
    Dear Imtiaz Ahmad Khan,

    Thank you for contacting PayPal.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. Upon
checking your transaction history, I see that the funds you withdrew to
your bank account have been returned to your PayPal balance on. This is
due to the issue we are currently experiencing specifically with
electronic funds transfer from PayPal balance to an Indian bank account.
Please be assured that our technicians are diligently working to resolve
this matter. I can assure you though that the funds have been returned
    to your PayPal balance.

You may withdraw the funds again at a later time; however, please be
reminded that we are currently experiencing delays in transferring funds
from the PayPal balance to an Indian bank account. Alternatively, you
may withdraw your funds to an eligible credit or debit card or you have
the option to request a check to withdraw your funds.

As for the negative balance, I can assure you that it has been resolved
    from the reversed withdrawals.

To withdraw funds by requesting a check:
    1. Go to the PayPal website and log in to your account.
    2. Click "Withdraw."
    3. Click the "Request a check from PayPal" link.
    4. Enter the required information.
    5. Click "Continue."

To withdraw funds to a credit card:
    1. Go to the PayPal website and log in to your account.
    2. Click "Withdraw."
    3. Click the "Withdraw funds to your card" link.
    4. Enter the required information.
    5. Click "Continue."

You can view your withdrawal options by logging in to your account and
going to the Withdraw tab on your Account Overview page.

I guess even if we get a cheque, our banks will return it - if paypal is not releasing payments.. not sure though do try and let us know.

It seems, I really need to tell my buyers about not sending money to my PayPal account until this issue resolves.... also... it seems I really need to relay upon their honesty that they will resend the payment (after 1 month... year... :( )

Now it's time for us to be smart, Just make a withdrawal now, as Exchange rate is higher at the moment and damn sure it will be less in coming week so when they make reversal we earn some money back.:D Just kidding.

Stay away from any Withdrawal for next 5-7 days!

Withdrawal to banks is not going to work as that would mean debitting paypal accounts and from the looks of it paypal accounts are not being allowed to operate in India. However transfer to an international VISA credit/debit card should work. In that case you are using a VISA to VISA transfer which is in effect a non-paypal transaction and hence not purportedly banned in India, paypal being allowed to operate it's accounts in the US where it can settle with VISA.

Again this is all theory and logic application I have no evidence about the paypal block in India or the fact that VISA to VISA transfer will work.
