Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

    This is scary. If Paypal can do this to India, there's no reason it can't to the rest of us. Or maybe there's been a lot of problems with the transactions with Indian Banks and Paypal. Hope, they can fix this very soon.

    So the only solution now is BUY NOW Button? I think I can do that, but will the payment from buy now button will also be reversed if client has no shipping address?

    Can some one confirm me this?

    I am completely struck now. I wonder what is the solution. If RBI declares all paypal India money is not to be sent to bank, are we supposed to spend then online? all 100s of $$$???

    So is paypal not providing any correct info on what this will get solved? If so can we do any strike and get media attention. Or can we complain to media? If some one can give me good way to fight this back, I will see what I can do as I have some big media links (contacts)

    I think it is $8.2K..

    I have half of it 4.2K$ but I think issues will get solved soon. They can't just take away those money because there are million of users using PayPal in India and ever if they take 100$ on an average then it will be a BIG amount so there will definitely a way from where we will get our money back. So don't worry.. Just wait and watch. Don't send/receive/withdraw any money until things get fixed.

    its 8216 usd mate, recovered $600 so far, got that paid by xoom on saturday, that hasnt hit my account yet either, biting nails :s

    All this will affect for sure the good reputation of paypal...
    They should resolve this issue soon and save their reputation,becoz what matters is trust and reputation..
    I think other s like mb etc should try to take benifit of such situations...and get there heads up in this business..

    Yes, if moneybookers allows me to move funds from paypal to them with out charges, I will do it for sure
    I do not want to trust paypal any more, but again they are King :(

    You can use xoom.com to withdarw funds from paypal. I used to use it before paypal started bank depost in India, and there is a way how you can do it without xoom fees. Try it I have been using it for 4 years.
