i think any and every transaction happened after 1st FEB is being reviewed by paypal and where ever the shipping address is not given by buyer, they reverse it.

although am not sure how much fees has been cut by paypal to do the reversal? shouldnt cut anything theoritically, right?

I think i have never seen any stupid move like this by paypal ..
If they want to disallow these kind of payments to /from Indians, then just disable using personal /service payments to be sent/received from Indians from feb 1st

Cant it be done by modifying their back end ..?
sure then can do it .. but they didn't and now reversing payments

I am sure even now the option is not disabled and indians can send/receive these kind of payments but after a day or after some time the paypal is going to reverse all these

Paypal has reversed a lot of payments made recently which where received as personal payments. I don't know why paypal has suddenly turned anti Indian!

I don't think so that it will happen, They surly brings fees structures for all types of account types and they make sure that now every one have to pay fees whatever account types. They are making frustrating all of us.

HOW I can FIND out if payment was sent using personal payment option ?

Many Of my clients know me for years so they never add address and NOR its compulsory.

Paypal make it a mess, they could have sent it easier by announcing in advance and just put a check on their own website that no one can send payments to India using Personal payments option?

    Shame shame - Paypal

I can going to try 2CO ,any opinion on 2CO from Indian users?

I have 2 Reversal so Far Both of 2nd February.
1 More Buyer told me about refund email but that is not refunded yet from my account, this too was on 2nd Feb...

So I may still see some more reversal from 3rd Feb as many of them don't have address mentioned.

4th Feb. - I will not receive any payments on paypal as I told all customers not to pay untill I tell them!

The earliest seems to be 1st Feb 2010. I'm the author of a popular firefox addon and accept donations. now all payment has been reversed. Is there something we can do under the Indian or the US law? They haven't given any prior notices etc. either. These are not fair business practices.

    May be Report to BBB.

But I will defiantly look for alternate options Now (I always think Not to keep eggs in same basket but this paypal was so easy that I was lazy to use something else)

The best will be use other methods and keep this paypal for backup only.

Don't worry now you will only get money from proper way as their will be no Personal Option to send money for Indian PayPal account holders!
