Seems to be happening more often. I'm using Gemini Flash, standard reasoning. Hitting retry like 5 times usually fixed it but sometimes not. Ironically I asked chatgpt for an explanation: Error 1076 in the Gemini app isn't a publicly documented error code from Google, so there's no official explanation. Tldr: Error 1076 usually means Gemini couldn't complete your request due to a temporary server issue, connection problem, app bug, or account issue.
Update: Social media is currently going crazy after Gemini is facing server problems especially with the error code 1076. Hang tight. It's on Google's end. There is nothing we can do. Crazy to think how reliant we are on AI now isn't it. Scary yet humbling times.
I was using the app yesterday and everything was working totally fine. Usually, if there's a glitch, you just need to close and reopen it or just wait a bit.
