Anyone else getting spammed by Authority Directory

One day they sent me 50 emails to renew my 10 links in their directory.
Today the sent 100 emails.
beware of them..authoritydirectory [dot] com.

they are not getting more publicity from me.

Im not getting but thats because im not a customer, the owner is active here, i cant imagine him deliberately sending 100, may be a problem at the hosting, emailing etc.

Can anyone tell me who sends the acai berry, viagra, cialis, erectile, loans, insurance, nigeria, bank deposit, lottery, russian, adsense, seo tools, 50k a day, hsbc, bank of america, bank of scotland, paypal, ebay, and other spam emails please?

I seriously doubt that authoritydirectory is intentionally sending out dozens of emails, although I believe he does send out renewal reminders.

You might want to drop him a line to see if you can resolve your issue, if there really is one.

i don't know this guy, just place the email to spam box for preventing next spam emails.

 

You should have received one notice per listing.

Lukas it is coded by dargre and I will ask him to take a look at it as my normal coder does not seem to have the time.

You might actually try to contact the site when things like this happen. You tend to get a better response.

It was probably the script that malfunctioned as i dont think DP member "bruce" (if im correct)
would have sent ya 100 copies of the same notice or any notice that im aware of.

yea, it's definitely a script malfunction. i notified bruce initially about a few months back, and then just last week. it's not him and he's def. not a spammer.

if bruce cannot get dargre to look into his mod, i'll see if i can take a look at it for him.

 

did you broadcast the invoice by manual to every link to pay again, 100 for every each link ?

 

It's a pragmatic MOD that he had a developer install. There is a problem with the MOD though, in that it's sending out 20 emails per listing, which is obviously a flaw, and not intended nor intentional on Bruce's part.

I actually had a test link I put in there with an expirey date which I received one email on - so somehow it sends one to me and in some cases multiples to others.

an0n I would appreciate if you could look at this if you have time as dargre has not been active here for a long time.

 

I dont' remember doing this but if so, I only signed up maybe 10 sites. never had more than 20 sites at a time anyway.
But, anyway I got so many renewal notices.
alright, so I am on the only one with the glitch. perfect and figures.uuuuggghh.
well, maybe the glitch will keep the sites there.

I did set them to go to spam but using yahoo's email so who knows.

Hey Lukas, if you get anymore emails please be sure to let either Bruce or myself know.

I have deactivated the MOD for the time being.
Bruce will be updating to something more reliable, so it'll be a few days until I can complete it for him.

It's automatically Webmaster send emails

 

In my opinion I think this coud be one of the resons autority directory is PR0. Webspam is not nice!
