Anyone else find Adbrite.com to be poory managed?

The whole concept of Adbrite is great but their staff and other aspects of the site is very poor in my opinion. When you have a question and contact their staff either on the phone or the live chat (that is great that they offer those means of contact) however the representatives who answer sound like teenagers who have no idea what is going on. One of them was even sarcastic with me when I politely asked when they expect their servers to come back online during a day when their site was seriously lagging and displaying page not found errors after a few page loads.

Overall the site lags most of the time and the fact that the pages where you enter personal information is not https secure bothers me. I have also submitted one of my sites over a week ago and the stats for it still do not display, and their support says to wait until Monday for the server to update (it is Wednesday now and still nothing) Plus there are a lot of grimy porn sites that are on display in their network and you would think there would be some type of warning before clicking on those links to see what it is about to purchase ads just to find that the site has pictures of woman in orgies and such.

There are only a handful of quality traffic sites involved in their network of sites to advertise on and they charge way a ton of money that goes up into the thousands for a weekly or monthly ad, and the more realistically affordable sites just offer a small section on a page that may not make your site noticable.

I also had to call support just a few minutes ago since I paid for an ad that was never approved by the webmaster of a site so instead of receiving a refund I can only get the credit to purchase another ad. Adbrite has potential but it is seriously lacking in the main areas that businesses are usually good at providing. Just thought I would let you guys know in case you are considering using this service for the first time.

Great now to make things worse a few hours ago when I contacted customer support and they said that my credit will go back into my account so I can purchase another ad, but it looks like they didn't do anything since I still haven't received the credit and my payment that was supposed to be refunded is still pending. Adbrite is a joke.

Im currently with Adbrite and am due to receive my first check soon.

How reliable are they actually. Because from what ive seen many people are now happy. Should I move to another company?

I have been looking at adbrite.com also (want to use them as a publisher) I also found adengage.com but I haven't heard anything positive or negative about them. Has anyone tried using adengage?

After reading this thread and few other reviews, I'm a little worried about using adbrite. Same story about poor service
