I get about 1500 uniques from wikipedia a month. Do other people do well will wikipedia refers? and does anyone know if wikipedia backlinks have greater weight with google?
i just post my link in the "External Links" section of the relevant topic. but it has to be a relevant link otherwise it will get deleted.
I get some good traffic from Wiki, you gotta make sure your links are truly relevent to the topic though.
Yeah, I get an alright amount of traffic from them as well. It's a great way to get some people referred to your site.
They are all no follow now so there is no SEO benifit. You can get traffic but it is not easy to get a link to stay up there. That said I do have two links up that have been there for a couple of months now and they do send a little traffic.
I just submitted something to wikipedia. don't know if it's going to be accepted though. it's still there no. hopefully it stays there.
