I mean, yeah.. I love SEO.
    It helps everyone out, right?

It does help. It helps me a lot!
But now I see people squeezing everything out of their website just to be noticed on the search engine.

I see so many great websites and blogs farrrrrr behind search result because they're not familiar with SEO. I can get informations out of website easy thanks to SEO but I feel like nowadays I have to really look around to find the website that I like.

This gets worse as more competition comes along.

It's a great way to promote your website but feels like it's overused and it gets worse..

I totally agree with you. Many webmaster are more into SEO than quality content. This is actually not healthy

I totally know what you mean, w3bmaster
Yes, contents wins, but finding a good website with decent contents is getting harder and harder. For example, I've accidentally found a couple of blogs that I really love, and writers are great too. But looks like they're not good SEOers, and that's what makes me sad. Just because they're not willing to pay thousands of dollars or don't have time to put hours per day on their blog, they get ignored.

And then I see many websites with almost no contents but on the first 10 results of almost every search engines because of their SEO skills.

I'm not blaming anyone. It's just sad to see it happening more often.

With the amount of competition out there, squeezing every bit of SEO is only natural.

Overuse of SEO is done for the sole purpose of marketing. Some sites which provide informations and are not bothered about the earnings from sales and Ads use only simple and basic SEO, which helps them in getting indexed by the search sites..
