Anyone dealing with quixtar???

I was approached today by an "IBO" who told me about the "quixtar" program, a "franchisor" program that I can join to earn some money.
He suggested that I could make tons of money simply by buying stuff from quixtar and getting other people to join.
Has anyone ever dealt with this program?
He gave me 2 websites thisbiznow.com and quixtarfacts.com.

I had a person from college tell me about this before. I looked into it; the part where you save money shopping "for the things you already get from their website". Its not really worth it. Just another MLM IMO.

Yeah I have had friends join that. All i have to say is dont do it. There are way too many people doing this that think they can make money. I remember they claim that you sell food an other stuff to people, but the sales pitch was to just get more people to sign up under you, and they sell the stuff and you get the comissions. But they are influenced to get people to sign up under them, so you really dont get anyone selling the products, just getting a bigger downline.

If i were you, i would throw that idea out and just continue working on your websites. They are easier and the probability of making good money is much better than MLM.

Stay far, far away...do a quick search on Quixtar and you'll see what I mean.

There was an interesting discussion about Quixtar here involving several Quixtar employees.

As a general rule I stay away from MLM programs. To much work for the possible return, if any.

A bunch of guys were mad that all the guys at the top of Amway were making a killing on tape sales so they started Quixtar. Same thing happened at Quixtar and started Team In Focus. That didn't work out and people left and ...

Quixtar is a MLM company started by the same guys involved with Amway because they wanted to get away from the negative word association with Amway. Unless you're prepared to live, breathe and sleep Quixtar, it's not worth your time that can be better spent on other projects.

Quixtar is the new name for Amway. MLM works but this one has been rode hard for a long time. Find something a little fresher. MLM only works if you are willing to work. Its not for the lazy or timid. Put in 20 honest hours a week and in one year you will be making a full time living. I doubt you can do that with quixtar but you certainly should explore other MLM's and find something you personally like.
    Just my 2 cents.

I would stay away from that company. Like the others said, the MLM model can work, just quixtar isn't a good one.
