    I really like it and have backed up all kinds of files there. It's safe to upload files there, because Microsoft has loads of cash, and your files would never be lost.

    The only restriction is that maximum size of any file, to be uploaded can be 50 MB.

    You can split up large files with winrar or winzip so that they will upload.

    SkyDrive is not meant for hosting copyright material. You can share other stuff with your friends, though.
