I am asking because I have this blog for medical students, italian language. I am only using TradeDoubler and, of course, adsense. It is starting to gain traffic and clicks, and I think that it will eventually get more traffic in the future, because it has a lot of content and it is a very specific niche. But if anyone has some experience on the topic, ideas about promoting it or monetizing it better, or anything else, I will be happy to receive it. http://medistuff.net
The color scheme and overall layout is nice, it gives it somewhat of a classical look. For the left side of the site, it's very bare as you scroll down.. I would stretch the table all the way down to the bottom of the site.
I cannot stretch the left table all the way down, because it is a godaddy blog and I have little control over it. I could ad some more elements on the left side but I have tried it and it didn't work ok. I had some posts that were not as long as the huge left sidebar.
I am getting a much higher CTR with it being narrow as it is now.. I guess ads are harder to miss that way
