Anyone Can Tell Me about Good ROI from Adwords

Discussion in 'Google AdWords' started by Sumitthewriter, Oct 17, 2010.

Hi I recently created this website http://www.theexpertwriters.com and started giving Ads in Adwords. But to my surprise, I did not generate much sales out of it.
Can anyone please have a look at my website and comment honestly what exactly is wrong with my website. There is no ROI for me. If my website looks OK then is it my keyword that i should focus on to generate some sales?
    Thanks in Advance

Nobody is going to buy anything from you if you can't offer them something they want or need. To begin with, i would make sure that your front/landing page is written in proper English. Nothing will scare away customers looking for well-written articles faster than a poorly written web-page.

    Thanks Terabite,
Your comment is noted. Actually, i always focused on making it SEO friendly rather than Customer friendly, and in this whole process, i forgot that it is the customer finally, who is gonna pay me money not search engines.

Your site is has a long way to go before you see returns from any sort of traffic.

The most important things for you to consider are:

    1) Provide a really useful service
2)Design your site so that visitors can tell what it's about and what they should do next within at most 3 seconds.

I agree, actually never focused my site to generate any return from Traffic, however, i created this site for a sole purpose - Sale of Writing services..
I do not want any adsense profits from this except for sales leads for my services.

On other website i am offering my services and getting huge response but on my website, not even a single lead.
However, @Terabite and ianthekisser, i shall keep in mind ur valuable suggestions to improve the site.

This is because even if someone wants to get in touch they cannot do it easily from your site + there is no headline so nobody knows what your site is about.

Without a good headline nobody is going to read the rest of the page.

In my opinion there's a lot to read in your landing page. You can try to put some more "bold" font for your important keywords. It may also help if you can separate your content into 2 columns and let visitors know what your site does. When searching for SEO content writers for my clients, I usually look at their history and what they had accomplished. Maybe you can put your "Successful Stories" in a page by itself instead of "SEO Articles"? Also, some pages (including the home page) took me almost 10 seconds to load in North America (I am in a T1 network...). May also help if you use a faster hosting company.

Not criticism, just my own opinions. Hope you success, good luck!
