Anyone bothering with .name domains?

I got a special offer email from godaddy.com about getting a .name domain. I can get my name, but I can't see the point, it seems a bit of a weird domain name. Anyone out there bothering?

I use a .name for my personal website, and my friends are saying: wow, you have a nice domain name (mostly becaouse I was anle to put mu first name in the domain, which was impossible with other TLDs - already taken ages ago). But for a website, not a homepage, I think it's not a good choice.

if you choose domain-related keyword for .name,
that's not a bad idea.. like some prime domains like sell.name, buy.name, trade.name etc..
