Yes I believe in Aliens. Not necessarily lanky big eyed green mutants that travels millions of miles in a peice of metal. But I believe that there is life on other planets, or universes for that matter.
I certainly believe - and let's face it they could look like anything. Watched an X-File last night and they had the ability to cloak themselves so humans just saw another human when looking at them. Would make sense...
There is no debate on whether there are other super intelligent races like humans in the universe, the debate is whether any of them have ever visited our planet or lived on Earth. Too bad you can't edit your thread. It should say 'Do you believe in UFOs?' or 'Do you believe there are races smarter than humans living among us?'. I personally don't believe that intelligent aliens visited Earth. Why? Animals, even smart animals, kill each other, and the strongest win. This is probably true for races living elsewhere in the universe. So if aliens were here, we would not be behind our PCs discussing their existence. We would be dead. We are not on the only planet with life. If it's happened once, it HAS happened before and IS happening now somewhere out there, to think otherwise is just stupid. The only questions that need answering are: 1) Is life on other planets intellegent (ie not microbes)? 2) Do they have advanced technology to explore the galaxy/universe? 3) How far away are they from us? 30,000 years ago we were living a caves using stone tools.... and look where we are today? Imagine what technology we would have in another 30,000 years or even 1 million years? Would we even recognize it? Would we be able to comprehend what it does? I doubt it. Image if we came across an alien race which has been around 1 million years longer than we have? It would be like us looking at a monkey…. Would we welcome that monkey into our society, or leave it alone and just study it? I think the latter, for one, the money is too primitive for understand how to function in out society, and two it’s too primitive to be able to use our technology. The truth is, we haven’t been around that long, and as hard as it may be, we are not that intelligent…… Have Aliens visited us? Probably. Are they still visiting us? Probably. Is there anything we can do about it? No. How can we prove Aliens exist? We cannot for the simply reason: We don’t have the current technology to do so. Remember in Star Trek when the Vulcan’s first introduced themselves to us? It’s because we tested the first Warp engine …. I think it is very likely the same thing will happen in real life ……. If a Monkey got the keys to the zoo and starting opening all the cages and snooping at things it shouldn’t. Would you as a zoo keeper take the keys away from the monkey for it’s own safety? I would. The universe is permanently growing (expanding). In the universe, there is an unlimited number of solar systems like ours. Human beings only know a very very tiny percentage of our solar system. In each solar system, there are probably thousands of planets like Earth, and thousands of other planets different from ours, but where life could exist - ie we breath thanks to oxygen, why others could not breath thanks to CO2 ? That's how life works, each specie gets used to the environment. So how could we be the only ones in such a complicated universe? Of course we are not alone, and I am looking forward to meeting our neighbours

Ofcourse Aliens exist! Too bad people are going to keep denying it until they finally meet them, and I hope something bad doesn't happen. I don't know what to say but you got to be really ignorant if you don't believe there is something out there.
