Defiantly why would we be the only living planet in the universe! It would be completely absurd to believe that with all the planets in the universe this is the only one with life on it.
I do not think that Earth is the only planet holding forms of life, nor do i think "they" will try to hurt us... Have you seen how quickly the government hides up when someone says or provides a picture of them seeing a UFO?
Based on what we know of the universe that surrounds us I am 99.9% certain that there is life outside of our planet, but until there is proof I can't be 100% sure. Just as I am 99.9% certain that there is no God or creator of life, but still cannot be 100% certain. I can make these deductions by evalutating the knowledge we as a species have attained as well as using my own personal perspective. Only an idiot would sway towards not believing there was other life in the Universe. Just like an idiot would deny evolution even though the facts can be seen all around them if they only took a brief moment of their ignorant life to look.
duh! ofcourse we're not the only ones here. In fact....i have an alien buddy myself. he is sitting right here next to me. Im about to sign off now because he wants to make a myspace account for himself. =P
Yeah! There are lot of planets outside of our solar system. I believe that some planets have a life on them.
Yes I do believe. There are millions of planets unknown to the small mankind of our dear earth. Several such planets are certain to have life & the life forms there might be much more advanced compared to us. For such life forms to whom we call aliens , infact we might also be called by them by some similar name.
Anyone that thinks extraterestrial life doesn't exist should go outside on a stary night, lie down on the lawn and stare into space. When you see the billions of planets and stars and then think there's not even a worm on one of those then that's just so naive!
Yes, there are trillions of galaxies surrounding our own , there at least five entire galaxies floating above ours and 28 underneath. Microscopic life has already been discovered on the surface of some of the most harshest climates in our solar system. Entire civilizations existed on the planet Mars billions of years before man came to existence, and came to a gradual end when the Mars atmospheric layer collapsed due to billions of years of meteor shower bombardment that released green house gasses, and oxygen into space. Planets located in other solar systems much like Earth have been discovered by way of advances in telescope technology.
