Hi , A site belonging to a friend dissapeared from Google and I presume it got sucked into the Google Sandbox... Any ideas how long this lasts? The site is a genuine business and not being in Google is bad! Cheers Sparks
tell your friend to tell you to post his web site URL here in the forum without exact indepth look at a site there is little accuracy to say except blind guesses. disappearing from any SE also may be caused by fatal error in page code/syntax validation
hans is correct but if a site is in sandbox it may take 3 to 12 months, but it depends like if you are doing quality link popularity and regularly updating your content then it'll be good to come out soon, i also was in sandbox for around 4 months but now i m getting in SERPS, but still not in good positions.
sandbox is a safe playground for small babies .. and baby-sites if however people change sites/domains like T-shirts they end up eternally sandbox-playing hwoever once you are out of any box and enjoy freedom then it is time to let ALL your creative potential deloy itself and CREATE i have experienced that whatever i LOVE most is what gets highest serps and most traffic and amazingly also highest $ in adsense ... while - if at all - IN a sandbox just forget the sandbox and CREATE content pics, graphs, movies, data, howtos, articles of any interest, any topic - as uniqe as possible and as SEO'd as possible the day you get out of any sandbox your traffic and $ shoot up like a rocket that's what i did recently during the june 27 Googel even - i kept on writing and publishing to the point where my host warned me of TOO MUCH resources used on my shared hosting and now i am about to move to a high end dedicated root server smile and head UP when you have PR7 ... a HIGH PR is just a reason MORE to prove that you have more to offer but numbers

post a link to the discussed site. Further advise your friend to keep updating his site, as well as try to create legitimate backlinks.
