It can be removed in footer. Since, i think nmedia is offering templates for free, they added in footer. Remove it from footer.

Many 'free' themes have footers that cannot be easily removed - that's the way that they can offer 'free' themes. For the long term, go with a theme like Atahualpa or Suffusion... or buy a good professional theme. I picked up 'Privateer' on the Warrior's Forum, a WSO for under $40, and it's quite flexible. But pick one, and learn how to use it - then you won't have problems with footers.

I've also heard horror stories about hidden links in 'free' themes. No thank you! I'll stick with one good theme (in my case, Privateer), and learn how to manipulate it to do whatever I want my blog to do.

Delete the adsense code from the footer.php file in your theme folder.
If the footer.php file has some strange code in it, it means it's encoded in base64 and you need to decode it first...

As previously stated, this piece of code is most likely located in the footer.

Be careful wehn deleting it though especially with a theme created by somebody else - always best to back up the file just in case.
