I'm looking for people using the Google Referrals? I am NOT talking about Referrals for the Google products like Google Apps and Firefox, Adwords, etc! I'm asking specifically about the REAL referrals for products NOT from Google. The referral offers that pay for leads sent to other sites. I'm looking for anyone else's experience with these ads to see if they match up with mine. I'm really interested in the Pay-Per-Sale offers, but interested to hear about the Pay-Per-Lead offers as well. I'm running several across a few of my sites and am having an almost impossible time finding ANY info from others because everytime I search "adsense/google referrals" all anyone talks about are the stupid referral programs for Google Apps, Firefox, etc,etc.... I'm looking for info on the REAL referral offers, not the ones offered by google. Those people using them will know what the heck I mean. Anyone?????
I know what you're talking about. I removed those referrals because they just don't convert. Bad landing pages or God knows what but they don't convert. It's a waste of traffic.
I found it a complete waste of using it when I changed some of my ad placements for referrals, I lost money rapidly, probably better running your own private referral campaigns.
I didn't give them much of a chance. I only tried them for a week and wasn't impressed with either the ads that were being displayed or the CTR
Well.....I've had some success of late using them. Mostly for "dumbed down" ads like a "Free IQ test" and other offers similar to that. I'm doing this on sites that are in what I guess you would call the "pop culture" niche, so my visitors may not be geniuses and definitely aren't people who have a clue what Adsense is or anything like that. The referral ads aren't paying out much, but they do seem to be making me more than traditional Adsense. Especially on the "dumbest" sites I have them on. The "dumber" the site, the higher the click thrus and conversions. Anyone else testing these out? Any success out there?
