Now if this had happened to just 1 account I'd have taken it as a slap (albeit mistakenly slapped but this is Google so what's new?)... But it's happened to every account in my MCC and some other accounts away from my MCC too so cannot have been done on an account by account basis as the odds of that happening are pretty low. So I'm wondering if other people have experienced the same thing over the last day or so.
Hi Yes, ours dropped right down, from 7s and 10s to 3s, 4s and 5s ... all happened last night. We are right in the middle of a major account update and re organise though... so we are assuming we have done something drastically wrong. An ad group thats had a QS of 7 for months and months, and CTR or 9%+ hasn't been modified by us.. and the QS has dropped down to 3!!
Bizarre stuff. Google have never had Adwords working in a fair, efficient way, so I'm hoping it's one of their many temporary 'cock-ups' and they sort themselves out soon.

A temporary change of algorithm could be possible... but what's more likely is that they've done it most accounts to try and get us to up our bids past the 'first page bids'. One thing I wouldn't bother doing - contacting them. Whoever they employ are all as thick as a duck plucker's wick and reply with pre written templates... they may as well be robots.
Yes, a search on google 'blogs' reveals plenty of posts and threads about it... all written today! It's really annoying for us. We spent all day yesterday making chages to the account. And all day today trying to trouble shoot! We have learned a few things along the way though. Some useful points from you Lucid (on other posts) thanks! Julian
I am not sure what happened with me!! I paused my campaign for a week and when I resumed, my quality score has gone down! from 7 - 5
Hey Guys, Anyone Still facing the same problem with the Quality Score?? Has it anyhow impacted your CPC( Cost Per Click ), CPA( Cost per Acquistion ) and the Number of Leads/Registration/Purchase.
