Just wandering if anybody watched the NFL game on Thursday with the Colts vs. Saints, and what you thought about it??

I was very impressed with the Colts defense, they didn't allow a single offensive TD the whole game against, supposedly, one of the toughest offesnes in the league. Also, there were many concerns going in to this game with the Colts losing some key defensive players in the off-season. I am a big NFL fan and am excited that the season has finally started.

What do you think? Do you have a favorite team, have any predictions or play fantasy football?

I saw it, and was really surprised with the way it turned out.

I was expecting a very close game, a second chance in a way of what the superbowl should have been last year. ( I was shocked when NO lost to Chicago in the NFC playoff game )

It was good to see the Colts defense step up the way they did after losing players in the off season I had my doubts about their ability this year.

NO didn't look too hot, but I don't for a minute think that game will be indicative of what the rest of their season will be. I think they had a bad night against a tough ass team and will bounce back !

My favorite team plays tomorrow, Miami - I'm hoping they come out as one of the "surprise" teams this year and finish better than expected. They've made some bad moves and some really stupid choices the last few years, but I'm hoping a new coach and other new personnel means that will turn around.

and yep, I play fantasy ball...so does my hubby and all of our kids. football games are like a death match in our house, everyone rooting against everyone LOL but it's fun as hell and I'm DAMN glad the new season has started.
