    Hello All,

I want to experiment Conversion Optimizer. But I am afraid whether it will work good. And in case I want to pause it, will I able to do it? Will I be able to switch back to manual pricing again? Anybody using Conversion Optimizer?

You can always switch back to the manual bidding. I highly suggest that you use it for a week and review the results. 90% of our clients have really benefited from using it due to the fact that Google can always determine what converts and what doesn't. You may be pushing keywords and ads with a high CTR while the converting keywords may have some of the "worst stats" in the Campaign. Try it out!

Definitely give it a try - I'd give it longer than 2 weeks unless the results are appalling.

The more conversion events in your campaign the better really (that lets the algorithm base bid choices on a bit more data). You can now setup for campaigns which have had 30 conversions in the last 30 days but I prefer to keep it a little higher at the moment.

No problem with switching back to CPC bidding at a later stage.

I'm trialing it this week, started on Saturday and plan to let it run through until the end of the month on a $150 a day campaign. Initial results look pleasing - but I do recommend a conversion rate of at least what google recommends, if not slightly more, as it appears to be working well for me.
