    Hi there,

Yes, I do/have used it. Do you have a specific question/concern?

No my host suggest it since i have spike with some blogs taking to much power and they suggest that to save my server from going down. Is it good thing to install or does it just lead to more problems.

It depends on what your site is, for some it is good, for others they have had a bad experience. I recommend you to see what is causing your server to slow down and tweak the configurations accordingly. Some incorrect values in Apache/Mysql Or some poorly written 3rd party scripts can bring servers down to a standstill. When the problem occurs, what is the resource usage and what processes are running on the server?

Ok, but spikes does not indicate what files are accessed in the background and whether it is legit traffic or not. Do you have plugins on those sites? BTW, how many wordpress sites are hosted on the server and what is the configuration of the server?

And what is the resource usage when the server becomes slow?

The problem is i think most traffic is not legit. I see many spikes today caused by spam robots from china. I used the firewall to block them off. Yes i have plug in and probaly a few to many wordpress but this issue is there is no REAL traffic the traffic comes from robots :(
