    Hi,
I'm thinking to use Elance.com to start a new project.
But really don't know how much does it worth.

At least the price is $250 value.
Anybody have the experience to start business like that?
    Hire someone?

Not sure what you mean! What kind of site do you want? I have used freelancers before and got quality work done.

    Sorry for the confusion.

My goal: Have a business idea to create a Web 2.0 website.
    My budget: Below $200
My concern: I can't code, and to hire a programmer.

Hence, I wanted to know those who previously hired a freelancer. How was the result?

Is Elance good enough or any other place?

I use scriptlance.com extensively, getafreelancer.com is good as well.
Don't worry, just go for it, but be very picky when choosing a winning bid on your project, stick to programmers with more reviews
And before posting your project check the site for similar projects to get an idea about the price

Elance is boast because of Kevin Rose of Digg.
    So i'm impressed with Elance.

    : )

BTW, if the bidder didn't meet requirement, can I just don't choose anybody? Do I have to pay anything?

Yes - you can just NOT CHOOSE anyone ..

However, you should read the Terms and Conditions of the particular website properly - would help you get the edge.

Try RentACoder.net - I recommend most of my clients there.

By the way, could you please send me a PM with your requirements ?
