I think this past 4 weeks or so my AdSense ads have different font's & font sizes on the same exact size ads. I also noticed they indent the medium and large ads more sometimes. They are trying to make their AdSense ads look like ads grrrr. I spent so much time and effort creating my site to make AdSense ads look more like the site and they keep fighting against me. It seems like they want to make less money on their AdSense ads. I know if I am the rest of us must be getting slapped with the same thing. This has resulted in lower CTR's for all of my sites this past month. Anybody else feeling the CTR drop or noticing that the AdSense ads are looking more like ads? Peace, Herman
Yes, I've noticed mine occasionally come up in Comic Sans, which is a bit irritating. Haven't noticed a drop in revenue but my clickthroughs were so sparse anyway I doubt it'd be noticeable
Hey taylor, Don't forget you can exclude undesirable advertisers, you know those ones who try to get those penny and free clicks from us AdSense marketers? Go to spyfu or some place like that to find out what they pay per click and ban those cheap bastids. I need to go update my tightwad list myself. Just don't click those ads, you have to type or write out the urls displayed then track 'em down like that. It takes a little work but it helps improve the pay per click. If the cheap ads are the only ones that get clicked it can cost ya so you have to experiment. This is rarely the case in my findings though. It almost always improve my paycheck. This whole AdSense thing is an ongoing experiment. I guess it helps keep things from getting too boring. Good Luck, Herman
I've witnessed at least 2 different fonts other than Arial on my sites. Comic sans is very likely one of the fonts, I'm not a font expert but I'm not blind either. I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
