Anybody Making Money Thru Teespring.com Selling T-Shirts?

Discussion in 'General Marketing' started by 3mice, Jun 12, 2014.

Interestingly i have searched this forum for discussions on how to make money through selling tshirts at teespring.com and surprisingly there are few discussions here.

Has anybody been successful..? any tips to offer? i am trying make more money through other sources instead of relying too much on adsense but my teespring campaigns have flopped (like this one - > http://teespring.com/californianurses )

There is a software that i came across yesterday (teeinspector.com) that helps ease the learning curve though i havent bought

I would much rather print them myself and sell them on my own website.

People are making money from it. I have promoted them before when they were in the early stages. The concept is good but as with any other campaign the success relies with you. You are going to be responsible for bring in the customers for sales. If you are good at internet marketing you will be successful. However, if you have not mastered the skill yet more than likely you will not be successful with their platform.

Teespring and other tee sites are making people tons of money. Digital Point doesn't have a massive t-shirt forum for obvious reasons.

I've tried a few campaigns but have only "tipped" one so far and made around $100. I know other people have made a killing with it but I haven't found the right "recipe" yet...

There are lot of people making a killing on TeeSpring
but you have to learn how they have been so successful
otherwise you will online be investing in empty basket.
There are lots of WSO product created around TeeSpring
you can do a reach on them to help you become successful
    in your campaign.

I did a LOT of money with teespring. Finally decided I don't need them and started my own website providing the same service. There is no reason I should drive all my traffic to them when I can easily duplicate what they are doing and grow my own audience. They need me more than I need them and sometimes they fail to realize that. If someone is looking for a teespring-like script hit me up.

@MyFlipOff That's is great concept instead of spending money sending
those traffic to their site mimic them and keep all the profit to yourself.

You should look for local tshirt printers. Or you can go buy some tshirts in bulk and take them to the printer. The only bad thing is holding inventory. If you can move them quickly though it shouldn't really matter.

I already sell a lot of shirts on teespring. Here's my tips:
    1. Find the market niche firstly!
    2. Create Tshirt design
    3. Create FB page
    4. Promote through FB Ads

Its a good way to get started to see if you have a good design rather then taking a risk and printing them and hoping you can sell them. I see it as a good testing phase before officially launching your business.

I haven't had a campaign tip yet, but I've heard it's virtually impossible to make much money without Facebook ads.

It's more likely that firstly you'll need a very good promoted account/group in FB or it will cost you a lot.

    - take advantage of a season or trend
    - it’s a good idea to have a few color and style options

I think you are better off if you create a website for your t-shirts. You should find a bulk supplier of plain t-shirts. Then you should find a printer who will give you a good print price per unit. But you have to stand out. Create unique designs so people will need to buy from you rather than from somebody else.
