I am very interested making a full time income with some type of e-commerce. I have looked at different wholesale dropshippers, selling ebooks, affliate sites, etc. I am such a newbie when it comes to this and really need help getting started. I have money I was going to put towards buying a existing local business but I would rather put the money towards making something like this work if possiable. I would like to see if there anyone that has been successfull with this type of business that would be want to take on helping me get started and helping me learn what it takes to keep it succesfull. I would not expect someone to put time into this for free. If anyone can help, please PM me.
    Thanks.

I think you could use ppc in the short term and then build up seo. I have read in several places that good seo doesn't necessarily mean more product sales. With ppc you can target customers who WILL convert but that is not always true with seo. Just my opinion.

That's a good plan. I usually advise new site owners to start with PPC. The type of results you get out of an SEO program depends upon how well you focus your targeted keywords, just like with PPC. If your SEO is not focused, your visitors will probably not convert well.
